- Legacy events are long running events with established LMC to who have proven time and again they know what it takes to run successful 2-day event.
What events are considered a legacy event?
- Flying Monkey Con, Mid Mo Maelstrom, Gateway Open, Renegade Open, New Years Knockout, Iowwwaaagggggh, Spring-Up, Wizards ITC GT, Bugeater GT, ShowMe Showdown, Branson Brawl, Free State GT, Midwest Conquest, Feliz Exterminatus, and Perils of the Geekery.
What benefits do these events receive?
- Each event receives preferred token preference.
- Each event will receive marketing assistance through the LMC avenues.

How do events keep their legacy status for the next year?
- Legacy events must adhere to the LMC guidelines and LMC Code of Conduct
- Legacy events must maintain atleast 50% attendance from the previous year.
- Legacy events must be scheduled within 3 weeks of their previously scheduled event.
- In the event a criteria is not meet, a TO may submit an explanation to the LMC Executive Committee as to why their event did not meet all the qualifying criteria. Explanations must be emailed to [email protected] and be submitted within 30-day after the event ending date.
- The LMC Executive Committee has all final say on Legacy Event status.
